The RRCLC Kits Committee set a goal for World Refugee Day, 2018: to assemble 100 relief kits for refugee families. Throughout the evening, a steady stream of generous folks each donated $20–or more–to fill 5-gallon buckets with basic hygiene supplies.

As the evening drew to a close, the final tally of money donated was $1836, with 99 kits assembled or donated! Each relief kit will make a difference for one refugee family–but even more, will be tangible evidence that someone knows–and cares–about the refugees’ plight.

Thank you to all who participated!
