Health Navigator

Healthcare Navigator volunteers help newly arrived refugees stay or get healthy by enrolling and introducing them to our healthcare system, and supporting them in following any medical needs outlined by the primary care provider, with the goal for the client to become independent and able to access and manage their own healthcare.

Volunteers are key to our work. Welcoming, advocating for, and walking alongside newcomers effectively involves the whole community, not just one or two organizations.
